Court rejects Tahawwur Rana plea for phone call with family
A Delhi court has rejected Tahawwur Rana’s request for a phone call with his family. The court cited concerns raised by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) that such communication could jeopardize the ongoing investigation into the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. The NIA argued that the probe is at a critical stage and Rana might reveal sensitive information.
