'Height of arrogance': BJP slams DMK for placing temple 'gopuram' on Karuna memorial
Narayanan Thirupathy, Tamil Nadu BJP vice president, has strongly condemned the DMK government for erecting a temple-style gopuram over M. Karunanidhi’s burial site at Marina Beach. He criticized the move as an affront to Hindu beliefs, asserting that a burial place is unsuitable for a temple structure. Thirupathy warned that disrespecting Hindu sentiments would have political repercussions for the DMK.
