Karnataka woman ends life over in-laws’ dark skin taunts
Pooja Ayyanagoudar, a 24-year-old woman from Ballari, tragically died by suicide in Betgeri-Gadag after allegedly facing harassment from her mother-in-law and brother-in-law due to her complexion. Police arrested Shashikala and Veeranagouda following a complaint filed by Pooja’s parents. The incident occurred on April 15, and the accused are now in judicial custody.
