Mumbai Airport will suspend flight operations for six hours on May 9. This is for pre-monsoon runway maintenance. Both runways will be closed from 11 am to 5 pm. The annual maintenance ensures the airport’s airside facilities are in good condition. Technical experts will assess runway surfaces. They will also implement solutions for water accumulation.
